FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I put my ECU back to original?
Yes, you can flash your ECU back to original at any time.
How long does the flash process take?
One off read time 5-30 minutes.
Writing (flash) time 3-30 minutes.
Can I use the DIY tuner on more than one car?
The DIY tuner is designed to be used only on one vehicle at a time.
If you want to use it on another vehicle there are two options:
1. Put vehicle number one back to original, and we can do a remote reset (at no charge) on the DIY tuner so it can be used on vehicle number two. You will need to buy a new tuning file from us for vehicle number two.
2. Leave vehicle number one tuned, and we can do a remote reset on the DIY tuner so it can be used on vehicle number two. You will need to pay a reset fee and also buy a new tuning file from us for vehicle number two.
What do I do if I’m due for a dealer service?
It is best to flash your vehicle back to original before the vehicle goes in for service. Once the service is done you can flash the tuning file back in.
